MINISTRIES
At Holy Child Jesus Parish we have many ministries made for and lead by youth. Whether they are preparing for a Sacrament or have already completed their Religious Education journey, there is a ministry for youth! Our ministries are a great way to be involved in our Church and local community. Join one or many today!
Religious Education
Religious Education is a Catechetical program for public school students that aims to instill in each child a sense of God and develop their calling as how to live as a Christian. Sacramental preparation is included in the program for those who will be receiving First Communion and Confirmation.
Altar Serve
Altar Servers are young people from 4th-8th grade who assist the priests in serving the Mass. Through their service, they can deepen their own and others faith.
Filipino-American Association at Holy Child Jesus Parish
With the growing Filipino-American community at Holy Child Jesus Parish, we celebrate our cultural traditions and pass down our culture to the next generation. Our youth perform a traditional Filipino dance, Tinikling, at our Simbang Gabi celebration. You do not need to be Filipino to join us in celebrating Filipino culture!
Ignited Youth Ministry
Ignited Youth Ministry (IYM) is a youth group at Holy Child Jesus Parish for youth in 5th-12th grade and young adult ministry for those generally between 18-25 years old. IYM meets at least once a month for fellowship, faith formation, volunteer & service, or other fun activities!
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir of Holy Child Jesus Parish sings every other Sunday for the 1:30pm Mass. This ensemble rehearses before Mass at 12:45pm. Come worship the Lord with song and voice!
Youth Lectors & Ushers
Lectors are trained to proclaim the Word of God and Holy Scripture by communicating these stories to the assembly during Mass.
